I was recently given the wool dress jacket my grandfather wore serving as a steward on the Republic. It is in excellent shape and I plan to put it on display but it is missing the butttons. I have some generic brass buttons but I would like to find out what the originals looked like or find out where I could get some. |

Posted At 15:29:24 01/05/2002 Doug, E-bay often sells both originals and re-production White Star Line buttons. Someone probably removed the buttons for sale. looking for fox head buttons (Currently 0 replies)
Posted At 23:36:57 01/13/2003 i have recently bought a tweed riding jacket, missing the traditional fox head buttons. the buttons have a fox head on them and we would like them in navy blue, maroon or brown. please email me if you have any ideas were we could get these buttons, regards ebony. sorry i can not help you! |
