I am doing research for a class and have had no luck locating information on a rumor about the wireless operator. The rumor goes that he was instrumental in saving the lives on board, but he was slated to be on the Titanic, but because of something in his personal life, did not go. The rumor continues that he saved roughly the same number of lives that were lost on the Titanic. Any truth? |
