The Library

The Library, with its well-stocked book cases and its inviting settees, might well merit the name of the 'Temple of Peace,' - to use the late Mr. Gladstone's term - to those who are on the outlook for a contemplative nook, where the mind can roam over the world at large, and commune with the spirits of the great departed.
